Blonds
A married couple were asleep when the phone rang at 2 in the morning. The wife picked up the phone, listened a moment and said, "How should I know, that's 200 miles from here!" and hung up.
The husband said, "Who was that?"
The wife said, "I don't know, some woman wanting to know if the coast is clear."
Someone sent this to me (making a mention that the wife was a blond!) No way! I'm going to guess that if she was blond, her hair was bleached. Sometimes, I take offense at blond jokes. I realize they are just jokes, but, really, do people realize how many blonds are intelligent? Some have Vikings in their family trees. Now, do you think the Vikings were necessarily stupid when you can find quotes like this about them? From Viking Hoards, One easy source of coins for the Vikings was "payment for peace". It was a common practice for the kings of Europe to pay the Vikings not to invade and loot their kingdoms. These coins were called Danegald meaning "Danes gold", a reference to the fact that the Danish Vikings were paid in gold to keep the peace.
Maybe, that was what dubya had in mind when he started his warmongering. For some reason, though, that gold never showed up, and now look where we are!

I can, at least, post.
Morning comes too soon. It seems as though my head hits the pillow and next thing I know, the alarm is going off. Not enough time. One day, I plan to leave the alarm clock off and sleep until I wake. Soon.
