I catch myself talking to birds, rabbits, squirrels, butterflies, and other living creatures. This butterfly has a bit taken out of it's wing. I was worried it couldn't fly, but, perhaps ticked off by my incessant talking, it got up and flew away.
The neighbor's yard is usually a din of activity. My cats like to sit and watch the birds in the trees and the rabbits that come hopping in the yard. Last night, I caught my neighbor talking to my cats. I was sitting in my chair, reading, minding my own business, when the cats (Rocky Girl and Grey Feather) took off to the window, looking out and acting all interested in what was going on. The neighbor told RG to stop pushing the little cat out of the window. As I got up to see what was going on, a hand was reaching toward them! I was shocked! Shocked! I tell you!
Actually, the cats enjoyed the attention:)
